Student Exchange was one of my most memorable moments in my life. During my 3 month exchange program to Japan I was able to make many friends in school and around my home.

It was great fun at school and a very interesting experience as schools in Japan are completely different to schooling in Australia.

At school I attended class like every other Japanese student and felt as though I was a Japanese student myself. After class I was able to attend club activities and go with friends and other exchange students to the shops around the school area.

Going to school was also great fun because I had to ride a bike to and from school everyday.

My host family were one of a kind. They were really nice to me and treated me as though I was part of their own family.

The neighbourhood I lived in was wonderful; the neighbours were so friendly and helped me out a lot. The relationship I had with my host family was wonderful. My host mother was very nice; she took me to many places around Japan when we had free time.

Never did I think I would be able to live and experience Japan like a Japanese person. I believe that the exchange program is something not to be missed because it is truly rewarding when you have experienced it.
